Time is money

Good evening people,

Today my daughter went to the Dominican Republic (DR) hair salon. She arrived at 515 and was out the door by 559. Now her hair do, which is very pretty, cost me about $30, including tip. I easily could have taken her to Germantown and Erie or the salon up Ogontz. But i didnt and do you know why, because they would have had her in there all freaking day and charge me about $45 for the same exact style. Now plenty of black women go to these DR stylist because their hair texture is very similiar to ours and the price is right and they dont take up a lot of your time. Youre wondering, what type of time do these other salons take up, well let me give you some examples: Ordering food for the entire shop, the bootleg dude comes in and she stops to purchase Ice Age 3 for her kids, the clothing bootleg dude comes in and she buys Chanel scarves and Coach sneakers. You get my point. I'm not saying all the salons are like this but I bet 4 out of 5 are, tsk tsk. Get with the program people, you may think no one has a curl game like you or a cut/color game like you, well your wrong. And someone else will do it faster, cheaper, and it will produce the same result.
