We've all heard the expressions: one man's trash is another man's treasure, what's good for the goose is good for the gander (by the way, thats lie), out of the frying pan and into the fire...okay the list could go on and on. My favorite, my absolute most favoritist (it's not a word, i know) cliche' is making a mountain out of a mole hill.
People have problems, issues, concerns, and cloudy judgement. Sometimes people need a easy friend with an ear to lend (thanks Kurt), but it's hard to talk to someone. People are judgemental and insensitive. What you may be going through is as if Mt Everest and Mt Kilimanjaro merged into one and is in your way of happiness or peace of mind. You decide, imma call up my buddy ol' pal and lay the trip on them. Well it didnt go as expected, and now your friend is like the scourge of all humanity because they turned your mountain into a mole hill. This person is very aware of their mental health and they have it under control. But you, not so much. How do you salvage a friendship if you can't talk to your friend?
This is why the APA (Amercian Psychiatric Association) is making a killing and charging people $150-$200 per hour. Boy I need to change careers (kidding)
