Mr Holland's Opus

Hey folks,

It's a sad day for everyone everywhere. Whether you loved him or hated him, whether you believed the allegations or didn't, at some point you spoke his name. His name was Michael Jackson and he was awestacular.

I remember watching "Imagine" by John Lennon in 8th grade. My english teacher, Mr Levin was a huge fan. He was crying as the song played. I didnt understand.

Some years later, I saw a movie called Mr.Holland's Opus with Richard Dreyfuss. The movie took place over a span of several decades, one decade in particular showed the death of John Lennon. In the movie, the world was sad. I didnt understand.

Now, I understand.
